About Us

Robert ("Bob") L. Zobel began his real estate career in 1965 in Long Island, NY. In 1979, he and his children, Laurie and Rob, moved to Port Charlotte, FL where he continued his real estate profession, as Owner and Broker of Zobel Real Estate, Inc.

Zobel Real Estate Inc. is now celebrating their 53rd year of continuous real estate service, with the last 39 years of serving and living in beautiful Port Charlotte, FL.

Bob's knowledge and dedication to the real estate industry was extensive. He formed and operated numerous corporations and companies, which included the following:

the brokerage of land, homes, and commercial property
a construction corporation designing and building residential homes
a mortgage brokerage
an online subscription based real estate data service
a property management company
a marketing company selling the homes for numerous builders through their model home centers, with a highly specialized sales staff

This has been accomplished in part with his daughter Laurie, by his side, exposing her to his myriad of experience. With this knowledge and experience she proudly continues their family tradition of Zobel Real Estate, Inc. as the Broker and President.

Laurie's career in real estate spans over 30 years at Zobel Real Estate, Inc. where she is also the Broker and President of Asset Marketing & Property Management, Inc. ("AMPM Rentals").

Zobel Real Estate Inc. is a small, hospitable office of professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent service and effectively helping their clients obtain their goals. You will work directly with Laurie along with her licensed agent, Deanna Hemminger, and her assistant, Michele Sotomayor.

Deanna started at Zobel Real Estate, Inc. as Laurie’s assistant in 2015. Through the same work ethic and experience, Deanna learned the inside of being a real estate agent. Today, Deanna is a successful real estate agent with Zobel Real Estate, Inc. building solid lifelong relationships with her clients. Michele has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She is diligent with details and organization and will be supporting you throughout the entire process. This is the team who will assist you through your real estate purchase or sale.
